I’ve Received An Invite To A Women’s Discussion About Men!

Greetings you guys!

I’m writing to fill you all in on something that was presented to me that I am very excited about.

As I was on the blog’s meetup.com site (go join that asap! lol) I got a message from another meetup group organizer. She mentioned that after reading the description of my group she felt she should share the details of her event with me.

I’m elated that she did! The event is sponsored by Unlocking Futures and is titled “From Boys To Men: A Discussion For Women”.

This description was retrieved from the website:

“We, a group of concerned women, have come together to start a conversation about men. We have stopped to wonder what negative self fulfilling prophecies we have set in motion. We acknowledge that the power of our words always has a result, whether we are aware of it or not. We further acknowledge that 1 woman alone can impact an entire community of males.

From Boys to Men: A Conversation for Women, aims to shift the way women speak about and act towards men from one of negativity to one of power and possibility. We will have our words and actions produce able, capable, and proud men. Men we would want our daughters’ to marry.”

That description alone peaked my interest completely! I have already reserved my spot and I plan to take as much knowledge and wisdom away from this experience. I plan to leave with a wealth of information that not only I can execute in my personal life with the men around me, but also on this blog with you all!!

The event is a FREE full day event for women ages 18 and older. It will showcase the following:

1. All Male Panel plus Q & A

2. Interactive Workshop Sessions

3. Topic Discussions

4. Networking Opportunities

5. True healing
